Best Irish Pubs In Bangkok

While there is a good number of Irish pubs in Bangkok, we've decided to put together a list of what we consider to be the top 5 best Irish pubs in Bangkok.

Each person will have their own particular favourite and some might even disagree with our list but we feel you won't go wrong by visiting any of those that we have listed.

Our list of the best Irish pubs in Bangkok is not in any particular order but if you have something to say about these or other Irish pubs, then feel free to leave a comment below.

1. O'Reilly's (Silom Road)

O'Reilly's is one of the first Irish pubs in Bangkok and is located on Silom road right at the foot of the steps leading up to Saladaeng BTS skytrain station so getting there is really simple.

O'Reilly's is one of those pubs that has a constant atmosphere as it is in a good location for tourists and business people alike and you will find a mix of westerners and Thais.

There is plenty of seating both upstairs and down and there is a decent pub food menu and a good array of draught and bottled beers. Prices for food and drinks is reasonable but more expensive than going to a Thai pub. Guinness is on draught. Different week nights has a special offer on different types of lager. Wednesday for instance, you can buy a pint of Chang for just 100 Baht from 7pm until close.

Live music is played most nights.

Food is on offer from 9am to 11pm

Quiz night every Wednesday from 19.30

2. Molly Malone's (Soi Convent)

Molley Malone's Bangkok

Molly Malone's Irish pub in Bangkok used to be known as The Irish Exchange but underwent a make over and a change of ownership and re-emerged as Molley Malone's.

There is seating upstairs and downstairs and there is the usual Guinness and Kilkenny on draught as well as a number of other draught and bottled beers.

Happy hour is from 4pm to 7pm daily and there are large TV screens showing live sporting events.

There is a decent food menu on offer with and you can have breakfast through to an evening meal with food served all day..

Getting to Molly Malone's should be easy enough as it is very close to Saladaeng BTS skytrain station and not a far walk from Silom's MRT subway station.

3. The Dubliner (Sukhumvit Road)

The Dubliner Irish Pub in Bangkok

The Dubliner Irish Pub in Bangkok is located on Sukhumvit road, around soi 22 close to Washington Square. The nearest Skytrain or Underground station is Asoke / Sukhumvit

The decor of The Dubliner is similar to all the other Irish themed bars in Bangkok - mainly wooden - but we like the layout of The Dubliner because it's more pub like and less clinical than some of the others.

There is cold draught Guinness, Murphy's Stout and Kilkenny as well as a number of other beers both daught and bottled.

The food is particularly good and better than standard pub type food.

Live music is played most nights but can be a one man band rather than a group.

There is a large screen showing live sporting events.

If your other half likes shopping, send them to The Emporium just down the road and you can sit back with a drink and wait for them to come back.

5. Hanrahans (Sukhumvit Soi 4)

Hanrahans Irish Pub in Bangkok is down Sukhumvit Soi 4 which is the same soi as Nana Plaza, so it's close to other nightlife and the action that comes with that kind of area.

Hanrahans opens early - 8am and closes at 1am. Breakfast is served in the mornings with food served throughout the day up until 11pm.

There are three floors to accommodate its punters with the middle floor offering up a more relaxed, lounge type feel with sofas. The top floor is an open air, roof terrace.
