If you take the MRT which is Bangkok's underground system and get off at Sam Yan at exit 2, then Chamchuri Square is right behind you ( see above )and you can enter through any of the doors you come across but the main entrance is shown in the photograph above. If you enter through the main entrance, the theme of the shopping mall becomes quite clear with restaurants occupying the majority of the area. The types of restaurants range from typical western fast food places such as McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut and so on with smaller stalls such as Dairy Queen, Auntie Anne's and Mr. Squeeze ( fresh fruit and berry health drinks ) dotted around the various levels.
It's not all food and drinks at Bangkok's newest shopping complex. If you walk around the various levels you can find computer and IT shops, specialist Apple shops such as iBeat as well as a number of book stores but these cater mainly to Thais and the books and magazines are in Thai although some books and magazines in English are available.
iBeat is an Apple specialist shop at Chamchuri Square. It sells iPods, Apple Macs and Apple related accessories.
Speed IT, is an IT and computers retailers offering laptops, PCs, monitors and IT and computer related peripherals. It is one of a number of IT shops around the Chamchuri Square shopping complex.
Naiyin is a decent book shop but caters mainly to books in the Thai language and books used by students for their studys.
