Chamchuri Square Bangkok | Chamchuri Square Edutainment

Chamchuri Square is one of Bangkok's newest shopping malls but it is more geared towards places to eat and hang out than providing any real shopping. Chamchuri Square is actually made up of three buildings. One is a luxury apartment building, one is offices for rent and the center, lower rise building is the shopping mall which is being hailed as an edutainment gateway with offices offering tuition in various subjects.

Chamchuri is the name of a particular flower and is also the symbol of Chulalongkorn university, which is very fitting seeing as the university is just around the corner. Chamchuri square is clearly relying on all the students frequenting the ice-cream parlors, fast food restaurants and buying books from the many bookshops because without them there would be few visitors as there is little reason to visit this new Bangkok shopping complex and it's out of the way from other places unless you take a short taxi ride to MBK, Siam Paragon or the other malls around that area.
